The connection between the sphenoid bone and the sacroiliac joint.

These are two areas that have an important relationship because the sphenoid bone in the head is at the origin of the unity of all the other bones found in the skull, such as the frontal, temporal, parietal, occipital bones. The sphenoid bone is very close to the pituitary gland (pituitary gland) which controls all other endocrine glands, such as thyroid gland, thymus, serenal, ovarian.

The sacroiliac joint is a place that supports all the weight of the body, such as the weight of the skull, rib cage, or vertebral column, on this joint between the iliac bone and the sacrum. Due to the fact that we are punctured, almost all the weight of the body rests in this place. When one is stressed or scared or depressed, the gland that deals with fear, for example, becomes more pronounced and cuts off the connection with the brain cortex that has the function of rationality, the reasoning that tries to solve the problem of fear or the important stress, but the tonsil gland cut this connection and one becomes more and more scared, fearful, and possibly very depressed.

To weaken the posture of our body especially damages the part of this sacro-iliac joint and also damages our operation of small intestines which manages the system of absorption of nutriment which arrives in our blood system by eating food. Energetically speaking, the upper part of the skull is the part that corresponds to the energy of the spirit and the lower part of the sacroiliac corresponds to the body, the vital energy of our immune system.
If the energy from above is cut off from the energy from below, it gives an important imbalance even to the person who is in good health. To be in good health means that our body and mind are in unity, with integrity. It is the connection of these two points that often gives the important result.

Here sensei Kawada demonstrates how the imbalance can be corrected by connecting these two points, lying down or sitting. The shiatsu technique affects many important areas such as the head, the entire vertebral column, the sacrum, the arms, and the legs, but also the feet and hands. In the sole of the foot there is an important point of the meridian of the kidneys, Yusen, the springing fountain which means that vital energy springs from the earth and vitalises our vital energy source which helps our immune system to fight against viruses, bacteria, parasites, toxins, etc.

Of course the most important area for shiatsu is the belly area where there are all the vital organs like kidneys, pancreas, liver, spleen, which will serve as the first plant for the immune system of our body but also these vital organs occupy important parts of our minds such as self-awareness, or give meaning to our existence with the will to live. In the head there is the 7th chakra point which is at the very top of the head, Hiyakué (the point of one hundred unions), which is the spiritual revival zone of recognition.
